찰리와 초콜렛 공장 줄거리 - 로알드 달 저

There were seven family members lived together in a small wooden house on the edge of a great town. Let me introduce their name, Mr. Bucket's parents: Grandpa Joe and Grandma Josephine, Mrs. Bucket's parents: Grandpa George, and Grandma Georgina, Mr. and Mrs. Bucket and their only son, Charlie. They were so poor to live and Mr. Bucket was the only one who has a job. Thanks to that situation, the whole family didn't starve, but they just ate less amount of food daily. On the way to school, Charlie could feel and see a bunch of chocolates through the window at candy bar shop. As time flies, he craved for chocolate more than ever, and every birthday he could touch and taste chocolate bar, He didn't eat it at once. He just kept it for few days.

One day, he found a chocolate factory nearby his house. He wished to enter and see the whole process of making chocolate. Mr. Willy Wonka, the owner of the factory, announced everyone to invite five children to visit and see through the factory inside. Only ones who has Golden Ticket hidden underneath the ordinary wrapping paper of five ordinary candy bar were allowed.

The name and information of Golden Ticket founders are below:
1. Augustus Gloop, nine-years-old boy who was so enormously fat. Eating is his hobby so because of so many candy bars, he could find Golden Ticket easily.
2. Veruka Salt. Her father has peanut business and he was rich to buy thousands of candy bar. He asked his workers to selling the wrappers off these crazy candy bars instead of shelling peanuts.
3. Violet Beauregarde, a girl who just adore gums.
4. Mike Teavee, a nine-year-old boy seemed to interested in gangster movie than Golden Ticket.
5. And the final person is of course, Charlie Bucket. Amid the most painful days(because his father lost his job, they starved.), he experienced miracle and every family members were delighted and so exciting.

The touring was so interesting. The chocolate river was flowing inside the factory, Little men who are no more higher than children's knee were working. And there was Inventing Room for gobstoppers and hair toffee, and The Great Gum Machine. What a luscious, creative and unique idea of author!! And the whole process of making chocolate might be better on the movie screen, I think.

The original members were nine grown-ups and five children. Four children and their parents had to be excluded because of unexpected incidents. So only Charlie and his Grandpa Joe had left. As Golden Ticket says, every child who participated the tour, was promised to receive a lifetime supply of candy for him or her, and even for their family. And Mr. Wonka suggested Charlie to move into his factory and run whole of it as successor to him. Some of his family resisted, but no one could interrupt Mr. Wonka's decision and action. Whatever it comes, Charlie became the happiest child in this world from extremely poor family.
